7 3/4 x 9 1/2 in. orotone. Housed in original arts and crafts gesso and wood batwing frame with Curtis' applied paper label on verso, 11 1/2 x 13 1/2 in. Signed by Curtis lower right in negative.
Provenance: Acquired by Gladys Erling Ackley (1895-1978) in the early 1920s from the Curtis studio in Seattle, Washington, when Gladys lived in Spokane, Washington (consignor notes).

Condition
Orotone in very good condition overall. Some chipping and areas of surface loss to frame. Tear to applied paper label and frame backing.
